Invisible Forces - Chapter 1

A Brief Lesson Before We Begin...

You are about to experience an interactive presentation of fiction and fun. In this, the first chapter of our story, we shall see the seeds of romance planted. How will they grow?

Viewing this "webcomic" is no simple matter. Here are your instructions.

1. Allow a new page several seconds to load. You may perhaps use this time to contemplate your reading thus far.
2. Move your mouse pointer over the node (the black circle) on the monitor screen, without clicking.
3. Look at the picture and/or read the words.
4. Progress to the next node, following the path provided. The creator assumes no responsibility for those that encounter problems from straying from this path (though he suggests refreshing the page, and continuing with greater care). Paths to previous nodes will sometimes be provided.
5. In the case that no further nodes or paths present themselves, click with your mouse anywhere on the image. To experience old nodes again, the viewer must use the "back" button provided by his or her web browser of choice.

I have provided an example (fig. 1-1) with which you may practice your technique. When ready to move on, simply click as described in the instructions.
